SONIC INNOVATIONElevating the auditory experience to new heights, we proudly unveil the Mimesis Signature, a convergence of analogue finesse and digital prowess. This symphony of audio excellence introduces a paradigm shift in preamplification technology.
SONIC FIDELITYAt its core, the Mimesis Signature features the ESS9028Q2M SABRE32 Reference DAC, a 32-bit stereo digital-to-analogue converter that reshapes sonic fidelity. With unparalleled capabilities, it seamlessly handles PCM audio data up to 384kHz at 32-bit and DSD data up to the remarkable DSD-22.6MHz format (DSD512). This DAC sets new benchmarks with a dynamic range (DNR) of 129dB and remarkably low THD+N of -120dB, capturing every nuance with precision.
AUDIO PURITYCrafted with care, the power supply within the Mimesis Signature establishes new standards for audio clarity. Its design meticulously curbs noise to ensure the utmost accuracy in sound reproduction. Output noise measures an astonishingly low 18µV, resulting in unparalleled audio purity. Furthermore, the power supply achieves an impressive power supply rejection of 80dB, further fortifying against any potential noise intrusion.
Segregation remains paramount in the Mimesis Signature’s design. By distinctly separating the analogue and digital power supplies, we shield the audio signal and its components from any potential noise interference. This separation guarantees a pristine sonic canvas.
UNBLEMISHED DESIGNCommencing from 2023, our new preamplifier model embodies an innovative design language, seamlessly harmonizing aesthetics with functionality. The top panel exhibits a “No-screw-design,” creating an uncluttered and streamlined appearance. The side panels elegantly echo the design ethos of our renowned active speaker range, embodying the essence of Waves’ ‘Gaïa’ archetype.
ARTISANAL CRAFTMANSHIPEnhancements of note adorn the new product line, underscoring our commitment to precision mechanics. With an upgraded, thicker panel structure, assembly and handling become an experience in themselves. Embracing a 12mm profile (previously 6-8mm), these enhancements epitomize our dedication to unparalleled quality and artisanal craftsmanship. Prepare to immerse yourself in a soundscape where innovation seamlessly merges with tradition. The Mimesis Signature stands as a testament to our relentless pursuit of sonic perfection. Experience the art of audio like never before.
